New Orleans area?

Post by Brucepts »

Who's close to New Orleans?

My father just mentioned to me today he'd like to maybe go see the National WWII museum which he donated money to. I told him we could take the MH down to make the trip comfortable for him. He's 93 and still gets around but a long drive in a car might not be all that good for him.

I'd probably have to park the MH down there somewhere and rent a car to go in to the museum. Might have my Brother and Brother-inlaw along also. So looking for anyone local to offer any tips or answer any questions that might come up if I plan this out. Maybe a side trip to check out some flowbenches :)

Looks to be about 18hrs to drive and all highway . . .

We are looking at February time frame, talked to my brother-in-law and he's up for the trip. I have time to get this all together and make some contacts with some forum members, maybe on the trip down or back I know some are located along the way.
