Kind of sad

Post by coulterracn »

There is a brown greasy type of scum floating on the surface of the water along the beach area here in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

I was riding along Beach Blvd. with my Dad when we noticed some friend's parked on the side of the road. They had just walked from the edge of the barrier along the east end of the beach bulkhead where they had looked at the oil slick.

Kind of sad that there are ways to catch the oil and our environmental laws have hindered the process.

Last Sunday on Hukabee on Fox he was showing all the different ways they could clean up the oil using natural products from straw to organic items and the people showing them said how the Gov needs to approve them first?

They need to approve straw??

I do not like political discussion on the forum but I think the Fall election is going to be interesting!!

A paramount example of what happens when Wall Street and Bean Counters Drive Engineering! Greed over Safety,

I have to put a catalytic converter on my motorcycle to reduce the carbon foot print?????? Where is all the surface evaporation going in the hot sun??

We would help the Oceans buy just lighting the slicks off an let them burn the smog is better dissipated than the unburned evaporated hydrocarbons.

As an engineer by education this is the uncontainable 0 yup ZERO safety redundancy!

Sorry I am just fuming over this and am just trying to figure out the money trail because in the end someone is going to come out smelling like a rose and it wont be the poor people of LA, FL, MS, OR TX etc.

I guess Red Meat will be in for the next 1.5 million years.

Sorry for the rant.
