That's great stuff!! I wish we had more of that around here, it's mostly just circle track here.
Not exactly my neck of the woods but we've got the Targa Newfoundland starting tomorrow, seems like one hell of a lot of fun, one of these years I've got to make it out to that even if it's only as a spectator.

That looks interesting, rallying can be a lot of fun, I think you guys have very tight competition over there in oval track racing, tuning your engines to a Very High Level in different classes, I have been in contact with a gent called Dave Carpenter (84 Dave) you might know, he helped put together a roller cam kit for my friends 2.0 pinto engine and it has been singing ever since

Is Dave Carpenter in Europe or North America? These old motors do sing nicely when everything's right, the way ours are tuned, they make about 230 bhp, give or take a few.

That is a very respectable figure and about what Dave was getting from 1999CC running on 50 DCOSP's with annular discharge venturi's in his last engines running in Pro4, he was from Ohio, now recently moved elsewhere in the US, those 50's ended up in my friends car in the last video, he recently switched to 45mm Jenvery TB's and only achieved 1bhp more than the ADV's! they were great for giving finder fuel atomisation, the ID was 36mm but the flow was higher than a 42mm venturi, there is some information here Dave posted about them, look for #84Dave, pictures of the ADV's on page 6, I don't recall the drivers name but they won at least a few championships, no wonder with the level of detail Dave put into those little engines!

Ours are also Pro4's although we call them F4 Modified here. With a few exceptions, we run 2.3L with a single 2 barrel Holley 500.
