Re: Pot controlled ssr?
Bruce, does this relay/pot still require the transformer in your 220v schematic or is it the pot only on the control side of the relay?

Re: Pot controlled ssr?
My SSR comes with the 220v/24v control transformer, 125a Solid State Relay, Heat Sink and Control Pot.

Is the kyotto relay just load in/out on top pair of terminals and pot on the lower pair? No need for low voltage input?

Yes, that uses just a 500K pot. It's really not suppose to work in our application per their Engineer but I bought one and gave it a try and it worked. The pot is limited as already discussed to less than 1 turn.
I don't think I would use it on anything more than a hobby flowbench setup though. Not sure how it would work for daily extended use.
