Sf110 int-ex flow difference

Hi all im a newbie woodduck lookin to pick the collective brains for an answer. I have a 110 yea sorry.....ok i have upgraded the motors and it has a pt black box with temp sensors.so when i flow the test plate ie 5/16 & 1 7/8 hole on int mode with correction factor i got 152.9 cfm @10" flip the test plate over flow in ex mode 165.4 cfm @ 10". Is this an inherent problem with this style of bench? I feel that it is a bit of a difference but am i just being too pedantic? Any input would be appreciated.

Sorry ....forgot to mention leakage on tests was under 1 cfm on both sides so not a bench leakage problem.

Welcome to the Forum!

Seeing a difference in CFM between intake/exhaust is typical due to how the measuring orifice is "seeing" the airflow. The path the air is taking is not the same in intake/exhaust. That style flowbench is heating the air either after or before your test piece so temp has to be accounted for in the math to derive CFM
