I seem to have lost my original post, or perhaps posted in the old forum, so please forgive if this is a repeat.
When measuring flow through an orifice I understand it is most accurate to flow in the upper percentage ranges. My question is: Is there a recommended range for measuring flow through a pitot tube? This would be for measuring with common water monometers as it appears from past information that digital equipment is capable of accuracy over a large range. I am thinking of something like a range of 4"-12" of H2O on the inclined or roughly 8,000-14,000 fpm. Any thoughts appreciated.
