One thing to keep in mind; most flowbench designs run the motors wide open and throttle the flow with a valve, in this case the motors are generating a very high temp output of air.

Running only the motors you need and controlling the depression with varying motor speed keeps the motors from running wide open with no cooling flow. On my PTS design no measuring tubing is exposed to any air temp change from the motors as the tubing is external to the motor box area.

Once your motor brushes are "run in" the massive sparking subsides, I used water based paint in my bench build.

I have seen these motor throw a wild, almost flame like, sparks.(quote Flash)

made me think we should be attentive to the work environment because the suction power of a fb and great! air must be pure. as the sparks of the engine in contact with air polluted by gases may explode

I spoke with the manufacturer, went the value of R $ 288.00 paint gallon + / - U $ 150.00. very expensive! cheaper to buy good extinguisher
