I am in St louis MO. It was 60 today. I hope it does not come this way. I am already eager for spring and getting the car back out.

Thanks for sharing! That's a lot of snow... here in central NC we don't see nearly that much. The first year I moved here (in 2003) we had a really neat ice storm. It was dangerous and all that good jazz, but it was so very interesting to see the trees all encapsulated in ice! Back then, I still had my Saab 900 Turbo and I took it out to a local parking lot to play around in the snow/ice. I was the only car on the road that I saw that day. :)

Anyway, I read through the topic and love the pictures!

I don't think I have any of my house, but I do have some of my shop. It's a small little place, but it suits me quite well. I suppose everyone could always dream of something bigger and better. :)

Here it is back in 2010. I had been in business for myself a couple of years at that point, and things were going well enough. Up in the top right-hand corner of the picture, hanging from the ceiling, is my Kymco Super 9 - a 50cc, 3 or 4ish HP scooter that I bought to eventually turn into a drag racing machine. Today it's 74cc and making just at 15HP and doing the 1/8 mile in 10.2ish seconds. The scoot is fun, but there's still a lot more to go. Many well-built 70cc 2t engines are making better than 20HP!

The above are from May, 2012. The dyno acquisition was a really big deal for me. Perhaps someday I can have a bigger shop with a real dyno room, but for now this is way better than what I had before. :)

And here's the shop truck! I use it for hauling customer scooters back and forth. Someday I'll have it lettered up with the company logo.

I'll post more if I find some, but that sums up my shop pretty well. :) I can't wait to have a PTS flowbench in there!

Josh,
I love your shop! It is really nice. I have a sister-in-law who lives close to Charlotte and we are going to be heading that way this summer. I will put you on the list to visit!

Bob,
I will tell you the same thing old Grandma Holm used to say to us kids "wish in one hand and poop in the other and see which one fills up first" Get your shovel out, it is a doozy and I bet you will get some lake effect also.

Pretty nice here too, the snow from the last storm is all but gone and this is the forecast we're looking at, not too damn bad for Canada in the middle of January.

I hope it does not come your way. I always go to lunch on Saturdays with an old high school buddy, key word here is "old" :)

I usually drive my Mazda3 but today he has to bring his Dually Crew Cab, 6 wheel drive as I call it, two on the front and four on the back all driving. just so we can go to lunch. It is a mess around here. On the news they showed one of our transit buses coming down a hill doing donuts.

Also yesterday it was 35º in San Diego and 55º in Chicago. Very strange. :?

Bob, I hope this crap does not get you guys back east. Most schools closed yesterday and that never happens in Utah. There were 404 accidents by the 10 pm news and that did not include simple slide offs. Monday is supposed to be 0º My daughter works at the Federal Bankruptcy Court and they were sent home at Noon.
