On thw way out to see how the new house was going today, I took some pictures of the Great Salt Lake from a rest stop. I have a program that automatically stitches them into a panorama. It did ok but not perfect. Next time out I will go down to one of the points with my tripod and do better.

Btw Doug,
The picture of the completed house with the detached garage is definitely not my house  that is the model home that is way more than my house. But we will have room for you as my daughter bought her own home so we have two spare bedrooms in the new house.

Mu wife and I drove out to Grantsville to see how the new house was coming. I am glad we went today and at the time we did. We arrived and there was a big crane lifting roof trusses up when we arrived. Getting excited! I didn't ask but I sure hope we get an indoor toilet and not that orange thing in front

Went out to check progress and it is starting to look more like a house. Also we got a little closer to the Great Salt Lake and it was really nice looking today.

Our final walk through is scheduled for November 1st. I sure hope they get it done sooner. Our interest rate has gone up one percent since we started building. We have it locked now but I think that is only good for 45 days or so. It has caused our payments to go up $100 per month just due to the interest rate. Part of the risk I guess.
