I am staying out of this one! All I know is that in the winter here in Salt Lake City we have "dry" cold

What’s next are those in the low humidity part of the country going to get the PRUNE index. They don’t even have a chance to sweat it’s just gone and the next thing you know they are lying on the ground looking like a PRUNE.
Oh and BTW next time I order a double skim no whip caramel choca Latte from Starshmucks do I get that at 180° with or without the heat index???
This is all just more of that mamby pamby feel sorry for me Crap! It’s just Friggin HOT!
What the human body it actually more sensitive to than high temperature is high dewpoint, the higher the dewpoint, the less efficient sweating is at cooling your body. Some of you know this already but I work at an airport weather station, when the dewpoint exceeds 25.0°C our data entry computer assumes some sort of error has been made and insists you change it or manually override the error trapping. The high temperature here today was 36.4°C (97.5°F) and the dewpoint most of the day was 24-26°C range, to put that into perspective, the high today in Phoenix was around 42°C but the dewpoint was in the 8-10°C range. Right now, it's a few minutes before midnight, the temperature is 27.5°C (81.5°F), normally I'd consider that to be quite comfortable but the dewpoint is an absolutely VILE 25.4°C1960FL wrote: What you are trying to say is those on the east coast where it is F___ing HOT and Humid just not 110° like in Phoenix; Nooooo we want to be treated as equals to those that truly suffer through hells inferno.
Really!! When it's like this, I haven't got the energy to get mad let alone commit a violent crime, all this heat makes me want to do is sit on my ass and drink cold beer.jfholm wrote: the police are worried because when it gets so hot like it is people's anger spikes and the crime rate really goes up.
