Our air quality in this area has been deemed the worse in the Nation! Wonderful! It is bad. We are in a tight bowl valley surrounded by tall mountains. High pressure always parks over us this time of year causing horrible inversions that just do not clear out. Temps stay way could and air is bad. Some of the worst in the world. I went out today to see a friend but he was not there. They drive was only about 6 miles one way but I was dieing. Here are two pictures from about the same angle. The one with me is a couple of years old during the spring. The other one is today. You cannopt even see the mountains today because of the smog.

No it was a few years ago when I lived in Houghton MI (still the UP) when I was in college. I live in Gladstone MI now
But yesterday we got about 5-6 inches of snow which is kind of nice because it was near zero all week and the ground was nearly bare. It begins to feel like Siberia .. but tonight and tomorrow we have Ice racing which is just a blast! studded bikes and mini sprint cars and studded/non studded atv's.
I sponsor #22 he is 16 in the highest classes of bike (open) he has ice raced since he was 4
good video! Last week they had that motorcyle and atv race on the local Pro Hocky indoor rink. I did not get to go but I guess it was a hoot.

Here is a video that was taken Sept 11 2012 not far from where we are trying to build. Beautiful area, although you do not want to build in the flood plain. Usually it is drier than a popcorn fart down there.

Glad to see you are still around This is down by St. George. We are going to try and build in Washington which is just on the east side of St. George. You are so right about the smog. Salt Lake City and Cache Valley have the worst air in the USA from Dec to February and it just kills me.

This is down by St. George. We are going to try and build in Washington which is just on the east side of St. George. You are so right about the smog. Salt Lake City and Cache Valley have the worst air in the USA from Dec to February and it just kills me.
