Inline fuses for flow bench

Whats everyone using for inline fuses when wireing up 120 volt motors series parallel for 240 volt. Can i run just 2 fuses on each leg after the motor controller and the mani shut off but before the actual motors instead of individule fuses for each motors

I use individual fuses to each set of motors rated for 20% more than max current draw.
