What are people using to seal their orifice plates? One of my customers uses a light grease on his test plates for his SF600. I am just about to finish my PTS bench up and this is one of the last things I need work out.

On mine I glued a sheet of 1/8" thick neoprene sheet to the spot where the orifice plate mounts. seems to work fine. I guess you are talking about where the orifice plates mount on the inside of the bench correct?

Yes, I am talking about the plate inside the bench.

I used a o- ring for mine.

Made a groove, glued it in, and then snug them down.

Mine just lays flat on the MDF panel with no seal at all.

Ideally make a gasket that fits your plate and panel hole.

I made a cork gasket from Pep Boys.

I use a gasket and 1/4" bolts on each corner followed by a smear of silicone along the outside edge. I cover the head bolt with clay putty to make it smooth to the air. On the calibration plate I lay it in the center of the bore and duct tape the 4 corners down for a firm seal.
