Valve Adjuster like the one's being sold now

Somewhere on this forum I have discussed this before and have photos of the one I built (I can't find my own post  ), I did a redesign to make it more robust from what I originally built. I am now working out some design issues and need some input from those who are testing big heads.

How long would the rails need to be to slide the adjuster from port to port on a standard head?

My plan is to possibly offer these for sale, post the drawings or just sell parts to make your own.

The pics show my current design and it works good for smaller heads as it's seen on a 60* V6 GM head

for most V8 heads, 24 inches in length would be perfect.

Don't forget the six cylinder inline guys !
About 24 inches should cover most things.
But you could always make it in a couple of different lengths.

Yup! my test springs were for checking valve to piston clearance. On the flow bench, they would pull the valve open at low lift.

When to the local Ace Hardware Store and found two springs that looked a lot like the one i had but were stronger. work perfect.
