VFD education

In a thread in Air Movers I show a turbine air mover with a 15 HP motor that I acquired.

I did a search but didn't find what I need.
I need some education on VFDs.
Where to buy, how to choose the right one for this motor and flow bench use, etc, etc. Can anyone help?

Try ACTech drives They have a variety of different drives. some will evenhave a small drive that converts 110 VAC single phase to 230 Three phase. The controls are simple but effective for many applications. you would probably just set it up on a 10K pot, and go. They have the above mentioned 150% overdrive available.

Find a dealer and they can can probably size one for your use.
