Process Automation for FP1 Users - Maybe...no more hot key strokes

Discussion on general flowbench design

Postby larrycavan » Sat Oct 15, 2005 8:37 pm

I think I have come up with a method to automate flow captures with FPExcel. The proof will be in the pudding as they say. So far it's looking quite promising. I have a beta version that works on my laptop at home. I'll be testing it at the shop tomorrow. If there's any interest from FP1 users, let me know.

Larry I am interested.

As soon as I figure out how to get the back board back on my bench I will be back in business. It took a lot to get it off and in the process I messed up one of the side boards. I will have to see if I have to replace it. I am trying to figure out a way of sealing it so the back board is removable.

Larry I know we talked about it in the past. Can you email me a few of your ideas if you get a chance?

Sorry about changing the subject.

Martin,

To seal the back board on mine, I used a felt type weather strip material about 1" wide. I got it at the local hardware store. It comes in rolls. I also seald the top aluminum plate and front panel with it. It's air tight.
