FP System

Just recieved the complete system from John today,the monometers are going,anybody using the system have any do's and dont's for the install? Larry ,Bruce.

Nope no do's and don't ............ well maybe one do, get it setup and start testing!

Once you go digital you will never go back to the old way. I have had the opportunity in the past month or so to show my bench to people who have no clue what a flowbench is for and they were quite impressed with seeing the flow on the computer screen. I showed them how sensitive it was to small changes and each one of them was amazed.

I will second Bruces coment and add, calibrate carefully it is well worth your time. Build youself the depression control servo motor deal it makes life good, it will keep your vacuum motors happy too. I worked with John to get my system dialed in and will flow the pass-around plates when they come my way, my guess is I will be darn close.

What are you running the software on? A palm or a PC? I have an old "Tablet PC" running Win98 and am going to mount it to my manometer stand. I like those old water filled things for probing ports and looking for port trends.
