We are currently building a quick flowbench. I happened to have a bunch of 5.7" vac motors so we are installing 14 of them with variable speed controls and plan to employ the blow and suck modes. We plan to operate full digital only via a DAS and transducers
Our questions really come in with regards to the orfic plate transducer mounting options and test hole diameter and design. Are there any standards out there that should be followed? We are also very unsure as of the performance of the machine but each motor will pull 60in/h2o sealed and 112 cfm open air. We are just trying to see what has been done and what works really well for a digital type setup.
Has anyone built their own DAS without just buying someone's system? We are educated with the DA stuff but never applied it this this before. Any help is appreciated.
