just wanted to stop in and say Hi
I am an Elect Tech in the Air National Guard (Automated Test Stands) we test the Black Boxes (most are Gray) that come off the F-16
part of our setup is a computer control Blower
well one went out a few weeks ago and we had that thing tore all apart
the blower looks like a big turbo it even has a turbo looking impeller the power supply for it weighs over 100lbs
this got me to think about flow benches again
one question is what's the difference between a unit blowing and sucking?
we calibrate the blowers with a special tube and an Orifice plate and we use a manometer to see what the flow is for different orifice plates
then Adjustments are made to the pressure switches
well anyway hi hope to learn more about flow and flow benches
i saved that article from Hot Rod Mag back when it came out so its floating around here somewhere
