[color=#000000]I thought I'd add this for any UK builders. I was able to find deck plates on www.ebay.co.uk by searching for kayak accessories. I was able to buy 4 6" deck plates with o-rings for just over

For german builders, the shop www.DES-Boot-Service.de are a good source for deck plates ( ). I bought several there and the service and prices are very good.

I'm going to start supplying an 8" deck plate that only takes a 1/4 turn to remove. I just got some in today to try out. Not sure on pricing yet. I'll post a picture sometime in the next day or two, everytime I go to use my camera the battery is dead!

I got 3 of the 8" plates in dark grey,they are gonna look good on my black bench

They also suggested buying extra gaskets because they do eventually wear out.
