Pros/Cons of pitot tube and orifice style benches

I did a search and really didn't find anything comparing the two...if there is, please someone just point me in the right direction and I can go from there. If not, can someone please do a little comparison?

[color=#000000]I'm building a MercDog based bench and am going to use a Pitot.

The big advantage in my opinion is that there is hardly any test pressure wasted in the flow measurment like there typically is when using an orifice.

There are other advantages like high turntown, Preso has pitots that have a 17:1 turndown, accuracy
