I did a search and really didn't find anything comparing the two...if there is, please someone just point me in the right direction and I can go from there. If not, can someone please do a little comparison?
Thanks

[color=#000000]I'm building a MercDog based bench and am going to use a Pitot.
The big advantage in my opinion is that there is hardly any test pressure wasted in the flow measurment like there typically is when using an orifice.
There are other advantages like high turntown, Preso has pitots that have a 17:1 turndown, accuracy

Here is a good topic to read through.
Two cans of clay, a few happy meals, a couple quarts of coke, and what ever else gets in my way while testing.
Hot, cold, rainy, sunny, windy, smelly, It sucks the same as the day I built It.
Gotta love an orifice bench.
