Cutting plastic

What is a good tool to cut acrylic plexi-glass sheets and tubing? I have several tubes I need to cut accurately and don't want to break the tubing or sheets of plexi-glass.

Ideas?

Whatever you use, you'll probably want to run some coolant over it. That stuff likes to melt.

I've used standard lathe tooling, both HSS and carbide with good results. I run them s l o w .

Same way with milling and drilling.

If driling, I use a center drill first to take the pressure/heat off the chisel point of the final size drill.

If you can get your hands on some delrin, it doesn't have much trouble with heat and you can machine it pretty fast. Tough stuff!
