Hi
Just a quickie. For those of you that use the deck plate/ports on your bench, what size do you use ?
This is for use instead of the sliding door/plate at the bottom of the bench for the air to pass out of the bench.
Would 6" be big enough ?
If it matters, i'll be running 9 vaccum motors.
Cheers
Phil.

I have very good luck over several Flow benches I have built using the 6" Port holes.
Plenty of flow with one but being anal for an extra$15.00/ea I use two for the intake and two for the exhaust.
I also have an extra 6" port hole made with a 4"
aluminum nipple so that I can do remote engine testing (using a cylinder block and heads).

Buy only the Beckman type port holes as several
of the ones made by other companies are of a poor design and will leak. Beckman portholes will not leak.

Most Marine supply houses have the beckson port holes
Sorry for the typo earlier on the name of the port hole company. Plates are called deck plates
