Do not overtighten the ametek motors if you are clamping them down to a board. The bottom base wil collapse onto the blades....
I wish someone would have told me this before I collapsed (6) 115923 's.....

You can carefully take the drums off the 115923 motors and straighten them out. Reinstall them and you will be fine.
I have removed drums and fixed dents in the drums.

I have an excel spreadsheet at work on how to do it.
Send me a PM and I will include my work e-mail. I will send you
the excel file.

ps If you want to post it after that on the board then that is fine too.
It is just a cleaned up version of the old MSD schematic.

I do not know as 115923 motors: but cheap versions - windings are not impregnated by a varnish! Here also vibrate: result-burn!

For sealing the motors to the board....two words....Ultra Copper...........nice bead around the motor or the hole..and if you do need to remove the motor, it will separate without too much of a battle and the ultra copper scrapes off pretty easily..
Just replaced some motors that have been in the bench since the early 90's...pretty easy job...

You can get a motor failure from even the high dollar 115923 motors on occasion. I would not give up on the 16-1234 motors just because one had an issue. JMO
