For Racing Engine "X" = 2000
For Superstock Engine "X" = 2200
CID = Cubic Inches of one cylinder.
RPM = ("X"/CID) * (CFM@10" water)
NOTE:
When used in a spreadsheet in combination with the formula for Ve as published in my Superflow 110 manual, this formula seems to be based on the racing engine achieving 120% Volumetric Efficiency at the calculated RPM.
