Hello.
Is there anyone who knows how I get the Hz from the rpm on the outgoing shaft of the engine?

The easiest way to electrically measure engine speed is by taking an output from the ignition system.

I have a magnet on the driveshaft of the dyno & a crank trigger hall sensor.
1 pulse per RPM
Divide RPM by 60 to get Hz
10000rpm = 166.67 Hz

I used a 30 tooth sprocket with the teeth cut down to a flat, read the teeth with a 2 wire inductance coil (magnetic pickup) which feeds to a digital rpm indicator on my console. 30 pulses per rpm same math as above . . .

Can also feed that same signal into a DAQ card if I ever figure that part out
