Hi!
I have for a long time thought of building a rolling road dynamometer ala Superflow Autodyn 30.
I have bought a old 2000Nm Telma retarder before.

A couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon a Froude Eddy current brake controller with a power unit.
The problem so far is that the signal wires were cut in the power unit, and I dont have the ends connecting to the controller.

If anyone has good contacts with Froude, or has a Froude Texcel I would be happy if I could get my hands on the wiering schematics.
If I get a hold of those I could easily do the interconnection cables!
I have a manual in print and in PDF but the drawings only shows where the cables should be connected in each box.

I guess that it is possible to buy the wires from froude, but it will probably be more expensive than the controller and power module that I bought...

Hope that someone can help!

Thanks Gordon

Hi Tony.
Sadly Im not. I am located in Sweden in the north of Europe :)

If I knew one nearby it would be possible to mesure which cable to connect to each pin on both ends of the cables.

I guess it would be hard to get someone that has one to do it. I guess it would take a couple of hours.

Thanks Gordon

Oh well, it was a bit of a long shot Gordon..

Sweden is a rather long drive from Australia, but I would have probably been able to reverse engineer the Froude, and learn a lot in the process, and make you up a controller. A win/win for both of us.

But you are too far away for me to come over, see, and examine what you have.
