Calibration Help - Having problems

Jake,
Was the head flowed with a stub pipe on the exhaust port when you flowed it on the SF? And then did you use the same stub pipe on the exhaust port when you flowed it on your bench? I have noticed about that much difference when flowing with and without a stub pipe. Also different sizes and lengths make a difference also.

Hi john thanks for the reply. The head was flowed the same on both benches except for the head adaptor. Does anybody else have any problems where the exhaust numbers are low ? I would like to try and get it to be closer to what the sf bench does. Why do you or anybody else think that it flows correct with the plate bolted to the bench but when the we bolt the head adaptor on the head is so far off ? this is where we are having trouble tryin to figure out.

Can you put the plate on the head adapter? That would tell if if the head adapter was influencing the numbers. -- Doug

Thanks doug i tried that and it shows to read .75 percent higher with the plate bolted to the adaptor ?
The plate is 1.980 diameter and the head adaptor is 4.165 x4.040 and is flowed with 4.165 at the top .
