i was just curious as to how important this shape is on the msd style bench for the orifice disk? i am thinking of eliminating the disk so i wasnt sure how real important this shape was since you are really worried about the orifice hole size anyway. wouldnt it be ok if it was just a round hole bigger than your largest flow range hole?

what exactly is the pie hole for, and could someone dumbdown a definition of cd or coefficient as i think they are the same right?
another stupid question looking at the msd style bench from the front, which side is intake and exhaust?
