There's been a few threads lately about constructing inclined manometer and manometer scales. Earlier today, I had a conversation with Thomas Vaught, he had the idea that someone should be able to go to their local Home depot, pick up a meter stick and some tubing, make a manometer in which you read off the scale in millimeters, plug that measurement into a computer program and have the program pop out a percentage figure which you could just multiply the calibration number for whatever measurement orifice you're using to arrive at a flow number in CFM.

So, I've made a spreadsheet that does just that.

Well Ed, that didn't take you very long! LOL!

I would like to think that the meter stick scale was my idea but it was not.

One of the old posters BUDMAN (from the old forums) and I have
discussed this several times over the last few years and the idea
of the meter stick was all his.

With Ed's help today we just resolved a few minor set-up issues that always seemed to confound me.

The little spread sheet is so simple that you should be able to transfer it to any computer easily.
