Im about to order a Dwyer Instruments digital air velocity gauge.
It reads 0-144m/s so upto approx 475 FPS
This should be ok, right?
Also, does anybody knwo of any other manufacturers I can price up before I order one? This one is

How about one of Bruce's digital manometers along with one or two of his Pitot tubes? For about the same money, that would give you not only velocity, but also test pressure, depression and flow.
BTW, which particular Dwyer unit are you looking at?

I pm'd him before about pitot tubes as Dwyer dont offer J hook ends, so I'll mention the manometer to him.
Its a DH3-010. I cant see it on their website, but ive got a PDF on it if you want a look..

Does the software log values, or just display them Larry? And what hardware i.e pressure transducers, DAQ etc is required?
