This might sound stupid, but as a flowbench newbie if you will. What does this "cd" figure stand for when referring to orifice plates? Thanks Josh K.

Here is a very good explanation. I re-read it to keep my head straight also. Basically Cd is Cd = coefficient of discharge, What an orifice actually flows. The orifice may be 1" in diameter but usually only flows like a .6" hole.

Added some stickers and a hook to hang my orifice plates on recently.



Also did more work on the spreadsheet to go with it. Some screen shots are below. The values in the graphs are nonsense btw, just used to grab the pics. Got some heads to test in a few weeks that have already been flowed so looking forward to see what the comparison is.
