I'm glad that Curtis is adding his SF-110 to the list. We'll get a comparison between his and mine. I'm getting very excited about this project! (Or is it just my meds again?)
CFM Headman, the Brzezinski fixture looks pretty good. I like the fact that it is anodized. There is a local company that I go to for anodizing my aluminum tooling fixtures and some one off external motorcycle parts that are on my test mule, and my son uses their process extensively for the parts he markets. The ni-tuff wears like iron and is very hard to scratch or damage.
I went with a Mondello fixture which is very similar to the Brz. fixture, except that it isn't anodized, and (here's what sold me on Joe's), the slider itself has bore sleeve inserts, as well as the base. (I may be mistaken, but I don't think the Brz. fixture is set up that way, please correct me if I'm wrong.) Those are the only two differences that I know of, and Joe's slider will work on a Brz. fixture.
I have been thinking about making up a slider plate that will mount two or more Harley heads at a time to speed up that test process. If I make any progress on it, I'll post it here. It's all a matter of time and money. I never have both things at the same moment. First I need to finish my new bench!
