exhaust valve coating to prevent heat transfer

I am not sure if this is a proper forum to post this. But here goes

We race a Hummer. It has developed creacks in the head between the exhaust/intake valves. I was reading there is a coating you can put on the exaust valve to prevent heat transfer. Is anyone aware of this coating and who provides the service.

i would try calico coatings. they have what they call a ct-2 coating that is designed for your application. you might also consider doing the heads combusion chambers,too. here' there web site-
