calibration

Hello,I am new to the forum and find the info all very interesting. Have been flowbenching since late 1980's. My question is that I use a quadrant scientific flowlab 520 and i'm trying to calibrate it. I will make the plates but don't know how to calibrate the machine to the plates. I'm sure it's a pitot type machine. I would greatly appreciate any help. Jim
