My weekend Project - Spring Compressor

I thought I would share this, I do allot of different stuff in the shop but way more Harley heads than anything else. Spring compressors have been a pain with all the different retainer sizes and some of the heavy duty performance springs I deal with. Not to mention what they get for a modified C clamp spring compressor these days so here it is.

I like your spring compressor. I have a pneumatic valve spring compressor that does not work well with today's high pressure springs. I'll have to build me one.

Looks like a pretty handy tool Rick. I run into those valve spring compressor dilemas myself. Only with me, it's the opposite direction. Tiny valves. Seems like I'm always riggin up something to remove retainers...

Ok Another little project, here is my specialty valve opener it works on HD TC and EVO motors and cost me all of $50, two indicators from Enco and some plastic knobs from Tractor Supply. Did i forget the Chinese Green Rustoleum:-).
Going to test it out at the PTS world headquarters Tomorrow.
